The University of Alberta Madrigal Singers are one of the premiere university choirs in Canada, with numerous national and international awards for their recordings and competition appearances. Comprised of students from the Department of Music as well as from all areas of campus, the Madrigal Singers perform extensively in the Edmonton area and are frequent guests of the Alberta Baroque Ensemble and Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.
The elite group of choralists, led by Director of Music Rupert Gough, will take audience members around the world through a repertoire of works from over ten countries, spanning five centuries. The University of Alberta Madrigal Singers will also appear as special guests.
The Kilburn Memorial Concert is an annual event showcasing esteemed Canadian and international artists, made possible by the Nicholas Arthur Kilburn Memorial Endowment Fund.
Single concert tickets are only $10 and can be purchased online at ualberta.ca/artshows. Donations will also be gratefully accepted at the door.
